To commemorate the Independence Day, GDC Bishnah celebrated the occasion with pomp and fervour under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Shallu Samyal. The prestigious event was marked by the hoisting of the tricolour on the college campus, which resonated with patriotic slogans. The flag-hoisting ceremony was attended by faculty members, NSS volunteers, NCC cadets, and students. The flag was hoisted at the scheduled time, and as it was unfurled, everyone recited the National Anthem. After the ceremony everyone greeted each other on this special occasion.
