On 10th August 2026, The Students Welfare committee in collaboration with Discipline committee,GDC, Bishnah organised Orientation cum SCALE (student connect for academic leverage and excellence) Induction program in the college premises to create awareness among the students of B.A/B.sc Semester-1 students,under the guidance of Dr.Shallu Samyal, Principal of the college. The programme started with traditional lighting of the lamp by the Principal and senior faculty members of the college. The Principal of the college in her address to the students welcomed the students and encouraged them to promote excellence through determination and hardwork. Dr.Vasudha Choudhary, Convener,Examination committee informed about the values of adhering to the rules to appear in internal and external examination. Moreover Convener and Incharges of different committees Dr.Anshu Sawhney,Prof.Rashmi Arya, Prof.Shrotika Rajput, Dr.Preeti Mahajan, Dr.Geeta Lakhotra, Dr Sonika Khajuria,Dr.Sapna Bhargav, Prof .Nisha and Ms.Riya Khajuria briefed about the processes carried out in the college for the overall development of the students. The program was Coordinated by Prof.Sania Hamid ,Convenor Student welfare committee and Dr.Koshal Kiran Thacker Convener discipline committee and committee for Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. In the end formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr.Kusum, HoD Punjabi department.
